Birdie has been lured out of retirement for the 7th time in his career by manager Clinton Harcup and his experience should be invaluable to the side this season, very dominant in the air hence the nickname and good on the ball, can pick out a pass over any distance and never shuts up for the 90 minutes!

Has been dubbed the Camberley Sunday League "Teddy Sheringham".

Ben was a new signing at the start of the 2006-07 season and figured on andoff in the early parts of the season mainly as a substitute scoring one of the goal of the season contenders on the first day of the season, after the christmas break Ben came back and featured a lot more starting the majority of games in the centre of midfield, scoring some crucial goals with as good a goal scoring record as any midfielder in the league, a lot is expected this season and if available for the whole season will be a major boost to the team.

Dan is captain of the side, a big strong midfielder, dominant in the air and in the tackle, leads by example and always gives 100%, due to his job as a fireman he is not always there, but when available is arguably the sides most important player, also known to chip in with a few goals in the season.

Also won Supporters player of the year last season and recently quoted in an interview with sunninghillfc.com that lifting the prestigious trophy was the proudest moment of his illustrious football career.

Another long serving player has played on the left of midfield for a number of seasons, great touch and vision, can pick out a pass anywhere on the pitch. Delivers a lot of dangerous crosses and has a sweet left foot that has been known to score a few special goals.

Plays on a saturday for Ascot United and also undertakes most of the administrative duties at the club and his hard work behind the scenes makes the running of the side a lot easier.

Dave has played for the team for a few seasons now starting off as a creative midfield player, but towards the end of last season found himself in his favoured position as a striker where he had arguably his best game in a Sunninghill shirt away in the 8-1 thrashing of West End scoring a brace and giving the West End defence a torrid time all afternoon, if these performances can be carried into the new season then he will be as important to the team as anyone this season.

Wardy signed from Ascot United last season and made an immediate impact scoring against Tivoli United on his debut, featured mainly as a forward but towards the end of the season moved out to the right side of midfield where his crossing ability caused a lot of problems for opposition defences and created a lot of goals. Pacy and tricky on the ball will be an important player this season.

Wardy has been suffering this season from an "under the thumb" related inury that regularly means he is not fit to play, this has angered some sections of the Victory Fields faithful, recently one fan was quoted as saying "Wardy is a Cock"

Now in his 4th Season started off as a left wing back, soon moved up front becoming the teams top scorer, golden boot winner for the past 2 seasons, expected to carry on in the same fashion.

Learnt to pass in the 8-1 victory over West End and has since become a better player.

Tim Finch

Finchy is a powerful striker, after a number of years playing for Ascot has signed to give Clinton Harcup more variety up front, a powerful player who is also good in the air, will bring something new to the team that was missing previously. If he stays fit will be an important player this season.

Steve Williams

Willis is a new signing this season, plays for the Wraysbury saturday side and at 31 has valuable experience to help the side become more successful.

 A big powerful forward who is also blessed with pace and an eye for goal, has a good footballing brain which should produce a good partnership up front with Bennett. Capped a good debut with a man of the match performance and goal of the season contender.
