Opening 10 minutes were good, pinned Yately back then on their first attack made it 1-0 when Clinton Harcup missed the ball allowing the striker a clean run on goal, and this set the tone for the rest of the game as despite Sunninghill having their share of chances, every time Yately went forward the ball ended up in the net, a combination of woeful defending and good quality from the visitors in the final 3rd who now look set to win the league this season, 5-0 at half time.
The second half started where the first left off, Yately forced 4 corners in succession and eventually a player managed to control the ball tie his laces up, count to 4 million and with time to spare managed to pick out the bottom left hand corner, despite Sunninhill having a lot of decent chances the Yately keeper was having just as good a game as the rest of his team making 3 or 4 brilliant saves to keep us from scoring, this was until he got mugged off trying to beat Bennett on the penalty spot and after a scramble the ball was lobbed into the net. The rest of the game was the same as Yately still hungry for goals poured forward at every oppertunity with numbers looking very dangerous each time, aided by the fact that the home side thought it would best to mark each other and Chris Reagan in goal never really stood a chance, and when he was able to make a half decent save Jonty Gurr was there with his predatory instincts to dribble the ball over the line,
next week we travel to frimley and after this weeks performance Clinton Harcup is set to employ an unfamiliar 0 - 5 - 5 formation making the extra numbers missing in defence try and see if their luck is any better up the other end of the pitch
